First video clip shots for my song: Old Gun

This month we had another shooing session and this time for The Old Gun ( mit Sensual World verlinken bitte ) at my atelier in Strasbourg where I work as a vocal coach and dance therapist. This song tells the old and universally-known story of transgenerative burden and how to liberate yourself. As you can see, we used old home-videos of my childhood on a white dress to literally symbolize the projection. Confronting these pictures, I felt touched and a flow of tenderness rushed through me.

This video was shot by Mylene Debord, a very gifted young art director and video artist. The lights have been arranged by Baharak Darougari, my Iranian friend who has come to France to study English literature. Magaly Louvet designed the beautiful hairstyle and the wonderful make-up was created by my friend, Nathalie Hadey from Institute Poudre. The elegant white silk dress is a unique needlework made by Julie Galanakis. A heartfelt thanks to my very talented crew!
